Everything I do

• Regular garden maintenance

  from £30/hour, 2-hour minimum

  Weekly, fortnightly or monthly: mowing and edging, weeding, hedge and shrub trimming, deadheading, seasonal pruning, leaf clearance, gutter-level jobs by request. Waste removed each visit. Holiday-let gardens kept changeover-ready.

• Garden clearance

  from £180 half day / £320 full day, incl. waste

  Brambles, ivy, overgrown shrubs, small trees, old sheds, rubbish. Cleared, chipped or removed, ground levelled. Half or full days.

• Lawn care

  from £90 per treatment

  Scarifying, aeration, overseeding, feed and weed programmes, and repairs to worn patches. Autumn and spring are the times to do it.

• Turfing and new lawns

  from £18 per m² laid

  Old lawn stripped, ground levelled and prepared, quality turf laid and rolled. Seeded lawns as a cheaper option where you can wait a season.

• Hedge cutting and reduction

  from £45 per hour incl. waste

  Formal hedges cut to shape, overgrown hedges reduced in stages, laurel and leylandii tamed. Clippings removed.

• Fencing and gates

  from £75 per metre

  Closeboard, featheredge, lap panel, post-and-rail and picket, in pressure-treated timber; garden and field gates. New runs and repairs after storms.

• Patios, paths and paving

  from £95 per m² laid

  Indian sandstone, porcelain, slate and concrete slabs on a compacted sub-base with falls and drainage; steps, edgings, low retaining walls.

• Planting and borders

  from £150 plus plants

  Border design for wind and salt (this is Pembrokeshire), plant sourcing from local nurseries, planting, mulching, and a follow-up visit to see what's taken.

• Artificial grass

  from £70 per m² fitted

  For small, shaded or heavily used areas where real grass won't cope: base excavated and compacted, membrane, quality UK-grade turf. I'll tell you if I think real grass would do.

• Pressure washing

  from £120 per half day

  Patios, paths, decking and driveways cleaned and re-sanded where needed.
